- This event has passed.
In the beginning it was just the French press but, more recently, the press in other countries have also been describing Ms. Bertault as one of Europe’s most promising singers in the tempestuous world of jazz vocalists. Also, the composer of some of the songs she performs, Camille Bertault’s appearances in and on a number of events and stages surprised audiences in Spain last year, and now the time has come for her to take Madrid by storm.
The new listening habits brought on by the Internet were responsible for Camille becoming famous through the social networks. In just a few days, one of her songs on YouTube received more than half a million visits. From there all it took for her to become one of France’s most prominent personalities, according to Le Figaro, was the admiration this country feels for its artists and, of course, her more than ample vocal skills.
Camille Bertault studied jazz at the Paris Conservatoire, and they also say she has a pretty good piano technique. She has published two albums to date, “En vie”, 2016, and “Pas de géant”, 2018. But listening to her live, however, is an opportunity that will always surpass any recording.
