CentroCentro – Auditorio Caja de Música, Plaza de Cibeles, 1

When she performed in this festival three years ago, Kontxi Lorente demonstrated the pronounced singularity of her piano technique. All by herself, this artist certifies the excellent condition our jazz is in. If we take a look at her curriculum, we can easily appreciate the wise teachings of George Colligan, but also those of Baby Harris.

TICKETS ● 19.30 - 22.00 The kings of Treme, that ever-so telegenic TV series. This bunch of unruly agitators create contemporary urban street music, without making many concessions and without any conciliatory ambitions. The goal of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band is to keep alive the memory of the music that could be heard in New Orleans before that devastating hurricane Katrina swept it all away. A cheerful and modest woman who explains a lot about herself in her live performances, in search of understanding, a sense of complicity.

FREE Free admission until capacity is reached, previous ticket collection one hour before the start of the concert (maximum two tickets per person) Quartetazzo is a flute ensemble that wisely administers the skills of four outstanding performers from Madrid's improvised music scene. They are Leticia Malvares, Trinidad Jiménez, Carmen Vela and Emilse Barlatay. But they are also joined by a fifth musician, Epi Pacheco, whose percussion adds a base to the melodic flow. What is really paradoxical about the creation…
